Resize & Repair

Expert Care for Every Piece

Resize

If your ring doesn’t fit, we offer free resizing, you only cover the shipping cost to send the ring to us. Our current resizing timeline is 1–2 weeks from the time we receive your ring.

Because ring sizing varies, we perform a complete inspection while your ring is with us. We’ll automatically address any minor wear and tear. If additional work is needed beyond standard maintenance, we’ll send you an intake form and proceed only with your approval.

In some cases, we may exchange your ring for a newly crafted ring in the correct size instead of resizing it. This may be recommended if it provides a faster turnaround or if resizing could affect the design’s integrity. Exchanges are only applicable to plain gold bands without stones, and the new ring will be handcrafted from scratch. We will always contact you before making this decision. Clients are responsible for two-way shipping costs (and international customers are responsible for customs fees).

Please note:
Eternity Bands require a $200 resizing fee due to the complexity of the design. You must confirm your ring size via email before we begin production on an eternity band.

Repair

If you need a repair, please contact us at support@emeraldfinejewelry.com. Before sending in your piece, here’s how our repair process works:

Our repair specialists will prepare an intake form detailing the condition of your jewelry and the work required. We’ll share a copy with you so everything is clear and transparent.

We’ll then proceed with any repairs covered under your warranty without needing additional approval. This may include:

  • Replacing or resetting stones
  • Replacing the setting
  • Prong work or prong replacement
  • Restoring thin areas of the band
  • Ring resizing

If you prefer to approve all work before we begin, or if you want us to skip certain warranty repairs, please let us know before sending your piece.

If any repairs fall outside the warranty, we’ll notify you first. You can choose whether or not to proceed with these additional services.

Clients are responsible for two-way shipping costs, and our typical repair timeline is 2–3 weeks from the time we receive your jewelry.

Note:
If your jewelry requires a new stone, we cannot guarantee an exact match for limited-edition or one-of-a-kind stones. If the original stone is unavailable, we’ll contact you with the closest available alternative for your approval.
